When it comes to men and wearing rings, comfort and function trumps style. Your husband will no doubt want to wear his wedding band illustrating his commitment to you, but he’ll also want something that isn’t too flashy and doesn’t hinder movement of his hands. You should choose a wedding band that is flat, without a lot of inlaid gems or jewels. Some of the most desirable mens wedding bands are simple silver, gold, or platinum loops.
It’s also not improper to involve your spouse in the choosing of their own ring, if they’re apprehensive or uninterested in choosing it with you, at least figure out what they wouldn’t want to wear so that you can choose intelligently for them.
